Well another New Year Weekend gone by. Weather was not as good as in other years. But some high walks were done. Plus a trip to see Happy feet. The Hostel meal was High Standard and the staff work 101%. Gordan Ramsey would not find fault with Head chef Tom. Everthing fell into place at the correct time. Food was piping hot. Just ran like clock work.

John did the speeches just getting in before the knutsford ramblers. But he nearly got the correct hostel this time. Just one word was wrong. But it was in coniston. Then is was onto the normal Stockport sing a long time. But Knutsford was not to happy. But we did 2 of there members who were keen to join in.

Then off down to the pub. And hardley any one in for a new year eves night.

Next day most were heading off early without doing a walk.
